Halloweeen!

Sooo..here we go! Halloween!

Unbelievable how seriously they take it here! But it's so cool.

I went to three Partys. First one: The international club invited all exchange students. We were in our cafeteria and  played some games,ate international food and just had a lot of fun. There was a partner-competition who painted the best pumkin and guess what!? Cathi and me won!!! wuhu. Another one was on Saturday for all Churchmembers. Of course we dressed up and I put all this Glitter in my hair! I loved it but I left a mess behind me,the whole house was full of it and Mikel J (a good friend of our family)couldn't stop making jokes of me.( the entired house looks like a freaking Kesha concert! :D) It was so funny and we went to a haunted house ( diese Gruselhäuser,wo man so durchläuft) SO SCARY!! and I mean I knew all this people who were in it for example Rachel but it was still freaking scary and Viky and me just screamed and ran throught it as fast as possible. haha I could never go to a real haunted house. There is one down the strip and friends had been there..oh..my..gosh..

So on monday I went to Bettis house and I mean this was actually the 'real' Halloween day and what do you do ??? RIGHT! YOU GO FOR TRICK AND TREAT!! Free Candy :P

´That was so much fun cause is nothing special when you go as a Teenager from house to house,all the kids wore so great customs and I couldn't handle it - I had to take a picture with 'Mario and Luigi' . Aren't they super cute??

I LOVE AMERICAN HALLOWEEN! Germany's one is lame. haha

Yey and I saw the Ballagio Watershow!! <3 :D

Vorletztes Wochenende hatten wir 4 Tage keine Schule & natürlich wollten Viky & ich so viel Zeit wie möglich auf dem Strip verbringen! Hauptziel waren dieses mal die M&M Factory, der ich auf jeden Fall nochmal einen Besuch abstatte!!, & die Coca Cola Factory! Richtig genial! 4-stöckig & du kannst alles(!) mit M&M oder eben Coca Cola Design kaufen. Ich habe an dem Abend so viele Bilder gemacht, Hallelujah. We had sooo much fun. Die verschiedenen M&M Sorten waren so lecker! Aber natürlich gibt es die nur dort zu kaufen..

After this we went a little bit shopping to H&M and stuff,where I bought my Halloween dress.<3 and Rachel and me tried these pyjamas on. SO hilarious !!! Who would buy this crap!? Anyway we laught so hard! and for Dinner we went to 'Planet Hollywood' which is like the Hard Rock Cafe but for movies! Beautiful place and back home ging  es ab wie nichts ins Bett! :DD

Ridiculous. During the day it still goes up to 25°C but that doesn't stop anybody from thinking of Christmas. When I took the picture Halloween wasn't even over ..

Ok one weird thing I noticed..also in Deutschland ist's ja so,wenn man keine Lust auf Schule hat,einem Langweilig ist oder der Lehrer aus dem Raum geht,fängt man an zu schwatzen! Richtig?

Das kennt man hier drüben nicht,in den Klassen die ich zumindestens habe ist's ständig ruhig..das liegt dann wohl aber daran,das die oben genannten Umstände genutzt werden um Schlaf nachzuholen. Echt,so viele Schlatzmützen auf einem Haufen wie an meiner Highschool habe ich noch nie gesehen. haha. Kinder der Welt lieben Schule! :P

Reno-Wochenende.(:

In Nevada ist nicht viel los,bisauf Las Vegas & Reno.

Reno ist das,was Las Vegas noch vor 20 Jahren war,übersichtlicher & persönlicher. Zumindestens sagen das alle hier ( I don't care - I love Vegas anyway! :D ). Meine älteste Gastschwester & ihr Ehemann leben hier & die beiden haben wir besucht.

Man fährt ziemlich lange. & 7 Stunden durch die reinste Wüstenlandschaft fahren ist nicht allzu spannend also habe ich den Großteil der Fahrt verschlafen.

Höhepunkt war u.a. das Three Days Grace Konzert. Vikys Lieblingsband & very famous in America. They are well known,everybody knows what you are talking about and the radio plays their songs. My first rock concert and it was great!! Am verrücktesten war jedoch das wir durch Vikys unerbittlichen Willen,von einem Teammitglied Meet&Greet Pässe ergattern konnten. Sie hat bestimmt 10 Securitymänner gefragt & alles mögliche & am Ende hat es sich ja dann auch gelohnt. The whole story would take too long. All I can say  is that it was super crazy and I felt like a freaking VIP <3

Ansonsten haben wir Reno ein wenig unsicher gemacht & ich war zum ersten Mal Sushi essen. Aber was 'rede' ich denn noch. Macht euch selber auf den Weg nach Reno! Here we go:

 I had to change the music which kind of sucks but this was the only way to get  it legal for Germany. Have fun watching it!! (:

You know you're an exchange student if...

So langsam passt man sich dem Alltag an. An großartigen Events ist erstmal nichts passiert aber es gibt so viele kleine Momente,die man am liebsten ewig festhalten will. In der Schule hat die Schlacht mit den Noten angefangen & es ist echt von Fach zu Fach unterschiedlich aber z.b. in U.S. History versteht man unter einem Test,dass man seine Notizen benutzen darf - in jedem 'Test'. Oder in Mathe gibt es des öffteren Partnertests.  Da es hier keine Sozial- & Lernverhaltennoten gibt,werden im Laufe des Jahres immermal 'Behaviorcheck'. Eine Art Verhaltenszeugins, & auf dem darf man dann auch mal 'Excellent student' lesen. :D

Baskettball macht meeega Spaß aber es ist & bleibt haaard!! Das Wetter spielt gerade verrückt,es herschen gerade Januartemperaturen,von 13°.Die Berggipfel tragen Schnee & es regnet ständig. Finde ich gar nicht lustig aber nächste Woche steigt die Temperatur wieder. Bei der letzten Basketballpractise sind wir einfach raus in den strömenden Regen,um uns abzukühlen.<3

Gestern war wieder Footballspiel & trotz der Kälte bin ich mit Freunden hingegangen. (: !

Ich habe mich immernoch nicht daran gewöhnt mir mit sovielen anderen Schülern den Schulflur zu teilen..

Nachdem RVS letzte Woche nicht gut drauf waren,meinte Susan 'Ladiesss!? We need to go shopping,I can't see your sad faces anymore!!!' Also waren wir ein wenig Geld ausgegeben & haben das Haus für Halloween geschmückt & das wird ja hier richtig ernst genommen. Morgen dann letzter Schultag für diese Woche & dann geht es mal wieder zu einer Freitags-geburtstagsparty!

Bei Agatas Geburtstagsfeier letzte Woche Freitag - Wasserbombenfangen. Fuuun.

Achja, & wer mal so gar nicht weiß was er machen soll, Ich lieeeeebe es in der Postwarteschlange zustehen & zappelnd zu warten mit einem blauen Zettel, der mir sagt,dass ein Paket auf mich wartet. <3 :D

1. you ever wore sweatpants and sleepers to school.

2. you ever missed school bus.

3. you were ever given a hallpass to go to the bathroom.

4. you say "like" and "awesome" every three words.

5. you know that Friday nights are reserved for football/basketball games.

6. you now think dubbing movies and TV series should be illegal. Movies are just so much better in their original language.

7. you love target and walmart.

8. you need starbucks every other day.

9. you use facebook more then version in your own language.

10. someone asked you dumb quastions like: "do you have cell phones in ...?", "How long does it take to DRIVE to Europe?", etc

11. you want to smack every person who asks you "How do you like it so far? Do you like it better than ...?" and "I love your accent, where are you from?".

12. you can't stop ordering refills because you are so used to them being for free.

13. you know the difference between "TALKING", "DATING", "HANGING OUT" and "GOING OUT", and you know that "going with somebody" doesn't actually mean you are going somewhere.

14. you want to take tests with pencil and look for multiple choice sections on tests.

15. you don't think it's wrong to have cake AND ice cream.

16. you are used to people looking at you in a weird way just because you are walking or biking to get to places.

17. you went to homecoming and prom.

18. you park as close to the store as possible so you don't have to walk even one yard too far.

19. you gained 10 kg staying in US doing different kind of sports...and lost them all after getting back to your country without doing anything special.

20. you've heard the american national anthem more than your own, and you can even sing it along.

21. you know pledge of allegiance by heart.

22. you had to heat the water up in the microwave to make tea.

23. you argued to americans for few hours about what color blood actually is but never made them believe you anyway.

24. you know how to dougy!

25. you taught anybody how to curse in your language.

26. you realized how sucky would life be without skype.

27. you greet every person you meet with "what's up dude/girl?"

28. you ever missed school just cause of the snow.

29. you ever ate in buffet so much that it made u wanna puke but you kept eating anyway cause you dont wanna waste money you payed.

30. you have problems speaking your native language.
